Heirloom provided an opportunity to, through design, photography and the written word, tell an historic story of a building. In one instance in the project experience at the warehouse, paired with floor to (high) ceiling archival black and white photography, contextual, bright pink written statements flowed from the image to the wooden floor. Each statement revealsed the cultural relevance of the building and the space:
"When jarrah was felled with two hands and a cross-cut saw."
"When bricks were laid by men born in the 1800s."
